This isn’t supposed to be the first entry. This isn’t how I wanted to start this journal (I’d like to call it a journal if you guys won’t mind) with. I planned to start this from the begining, I planned to start it with how it started. But okay, since I only have one paragraph on the supposedly first entry that I have in my drafts, which had been sitting there for almost 3 months now, I’ll start it with the “not begining” part.

4th week in the training, S.E.P. which stands for Safety and Emergency Procedures. When I first heard it from Kevin (our first day in CSC instructor) I was very thrilled. This is all new to me, and hearing those acronyms made my heart skip a beat. I imagined, CPR, giving first aid, emergencies on board, hijackers, crash landing and all those stuff I saw in the movies like Air Force One and Con Air. OMFG! That’s the first word that came into my mind. I was so excited to do drills and everything. I wanted to skip the whole CSC training and go straight to SEP, but i have to flow with the program, they have for us and sit for 6 hours everyday, looking and tasting the food we offer on board and practice how to serve it, (it’s not like I signed up for a waitressing contract), adding the fact that our 2nd instructor Neil, doesn’t even know how to pronounce the names of half of the class, we got through it with an above average marks. First day on SEP, omg I can’t hardly keep it to myself, I wanted to scream in excitement. Rode the transport, wanting to take pictures of everything we passed by to document it, then we finally arrived the QR Tower. As usual, elevators are always busy from 730-805 in the morning, I have no plans of taking the stairs like what we did on the first day. So I stood there with the rest of the class and waited for our turn in the elevators. Off at the 6th floor, swipe our id card to get in the training rooms area, inside our assigned room, we all went straight to the classroom “training room 6-4″, as we opened the door we saw our name tenses facing us to let us know where we are seated. I took my seat glad that I wasn’t seating beside one of the “daughters of the Ipswich”, I’m seated next to Patinya a soft spoken Thai girl, who wears spectacles and her hair in a pony instead of a bun as most us do. She’s nice and sweet. on top of our desks are 2 thick maroon manuals that has the words CABIN SAFETY MANUAL VOL1 and VOL2. “uhhh what’s the manual for?” I thought “aren’t we gonna do some practicals and stuff?” “uhhh maybe for reference I answered back to myself “uhmm okay, i’ll just wait for the instructor”. Then a woman of about 5ft 2 or 3 inches tall, with crazy curly hair, and eyeliners of almost about an inch thick, which reminded me of cinderella’s step sisters, entered the room…
